Adult Coffee Club: Behind the Scenes – Exhibit Design & Butterfly Encounter

Our exhibits are built to handle a lot of interaction. From groups of school children to families, our hands-on exhibits require careful planning to design for our unique environment. Join us for a discussion with the Connecticut Science Center’s Director of Exhibit Design & Development, Richard Thomas about the design and engineering of our exhibits. See early concepts of our Butterfly Encounter and then take a tour of the completed project. Ticket includes admission to all galleries, including our new traveling exhibit, Alien Worlds, and Androids. Due to the limited capacity of Butterfly Encounter, tour times must be scheduled in advance. Presented by AARP. Registration is $15 per person; coffee and tea are included.
