What is a solar eclipse?
With fun, hands-on activities, students will explore the sun, light and shadow, and discover the science behind a total solar eclipse! Students will learn how to view the eclipse safely and build their own viewing devices.
FREE PUBLIC VIEWING FROM 2 - 4pm
Parents, siblings & friends are invited to learn about and view the eclipse
with telescopes and other equipment that is properly outfitted for solar viewing.
*Students should bring lunch and a snack, dress appropriately for the weather and outdoor adventures! Bus transportation is provided from Avon & West Hartford
