Horses, unicorns, cats, pigs, dragons and other interesting animals will be the subjects of this fun and exciting project. Children will get to use fancy decorative papers, yarns, tissue paper, buttons and paint to create and decorate a delightful mask that they will be proud to take home.

Animal Collage for children 6 to 13 years of age.  Once again, our stunning collection of Carousel animals will be the inspiration for this fun art project. Simple shapes will be emphasized to draw animals and then wild animal papers, tissue paper, scissors, glue, wiggle eyes and other art materials will be used to create a colorful “animal –scape”. Children will learn about foreground, miground, background and the horizon line.

Colored Pencil Animal Drawing for children 8 to 13 years of age. Children will use simple shapes to draw animals and then will learn and explore various colored pencil techniques such as hatching, crosshatching, layering, shading and stippling to make their drawings become realistic and life like. Children will be amazed and thrilled with how beautiful their finished drawings will look.

We look forward to seeing your children at the Carousel Museum in April.
