Family Camp Out
Are you an avid camper or are you hoping the kids will never ask for a night under the stars? That’s okay. Everyone is welcome and we will help each other out.
Meet at Gay City State Park in Hebron, where the kids will have a blast playing in the water, fishing, or hiking. The museum will provide dinner on Friday night. Kids can play until it gets dark and then we will meet around the campfire for a sing-along and storytelling.
Saturday meals are on your own but we encourage everyone to bring enough to share and trade. Museum staff will organize some fun activities, or just relax and take it at your own pace. We meet back at the campfire at sunset for songs and s’mores.
Let us know if you have any extra camping equipment to share or if you need to borrow anything. We will try to make connections between those families. Cost is only $10 per person for everything, but we do need an accurate headcount.
