Tour the Katharine Seymour Day House , a gilded age mansion and one of Hartford's architectural gems.
Enjoy hands-on activities for all ages in the Stowe Visitor Center: Learn about King's work through writing and craft activities, discuss historic documents from Stowe's time in the "Conversation of a Nation", and contribute ideas for "Words that Changed the World."
Visit the Stowe Center Museum Store for a wide array of books on social justice and history for all ages as well as home décor, gifts, toys, and jewelry.
Ring bells for nonviolence and peace.
1 PM - 2:45 PM
Watch a screening of 13th, director Ava Duvernay's in-depth look at the U.S. prison system and how it reveals the nation's history of racial inequality.
2:45 - 4 PM
Discuss the film with Stowe Center staff and visitors
