Jane Yolen always knew she wanted to be a writer. Her first big success was in first grade where she wrote the class musical about vegetables. After selling her first book on her 22nd birthday, she continued to publish books in every genre possible: poetry, picture books, middle grade, YA, graphic novels, nonfiction, you name it, and she has written it. More than half a century later, in 2018, her 365th book comes out. That’s right—a Jane Yolen book for every day of the year!
