Preschool Exploration Summer Camp

June 19 – 30: Dinosaur Days Create and Hatch “Dinosaur eggs”, visit with reptile cousins from the museum, see a planetarium program and enjoy the new museum dinosaur exhibit.
July 3, 5 – 14: Camping out Make tents in and out of the classroom. Visit with creatures you might find on your camping adventures here in CT. Play campfire games, sing camp fire songs. Make some yummy camping treats. See a planetarium program to learn about the stars in the sky.
July 17 – 28: It’s All Wet Explore all about the water, ocean, seashore & more. Visit with Hermit Crabs and other creatures that live in and around the water. See a planetarium program about the arctic waters. Enjoy bathing suits and water play days.
July 31 – Aug 11: Let’s Play Pretend Pirates, Princesses, Knights and Dragons. Create your own treasure map complete with treasure hunt. Visit with a Bearded Dragon. Create a castle or a pirate ship, try storytelling at its best and be ready to walk the plank!
August 14 – 25: Bugs and Butterflies in the Garden Learn about all the things living in and around the garden. Visit creatures from the wildlife sanctuary and enjoy the Butterfly Garden. Participate in a Butterfly release. Bring your own tiny container and try some planting of your own.
Who:
Children ages 3 to 5, must be potty-trained
When:
Full Day Week: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Half Day Week: 9:00am to 12:00pm

Full Day: 2 snacks, lunch, beverage, change of clothes
Half Day: snack, beverage, change of clothes
Cost Per 2 Week Session:
TCM/RBNC Members: $400/HALF DAY WEEK; $590/FULL DAY WEEK
Non-Members: $420/HALF DAY WEEK; $650/FULL DAY WEEK
