Imagine Nation, A Museum Early Learning Center located at One Pleasant Street in Bristol will hold the first ever Sensory Day at Imagine Nation on Tuesday, June 26th from 9:30am-12:00pm. Sensory Day at Imagine Nation is FREE for participants, thanks to a generous grant from the McPhee Foundation.
Sensory Day is designed for children with special or sensory processing needs and their families. In addition to a sensory-friendly museum environment with lowered lighting and sound, Sensory Day will feature interactive sensory-friendly workshops including Make your own Glitter Bottle, Slime, Ice Excavation, Animal Encounters, Bubble Exploration, Sand Foam, and a Group Yoga class with Heather Tartarelli at 11am.
Organizations including the Talcott Center for Child Development and Chapter 126 Sports & Fitness will be present to share resources.
