The Air Museum has made this decision due to the COVID-19 virus. As we deep clean the exhibit hangars, we will be ready to open our doors when the CDC clears us. In the meantime, visit our website or Facebook page for activities you can do at home or updates from our program staff.

Model Airplane Workshop & Demonstrations
Build and fly balsa wood airplanes with help from our team. This workshop is designed for visitors ages 3 and older, and there is a $5.00 cost per model kit. Model builders will also give aircraft flight demonstrations throughout the day.
Tuesday April 14 & 21, 2020
Fun with Foam Flyers
Learn the science of wing design by building and launching a foam flyer to take home.
Wednesday April 15 & 22, 2020
Mini-Aerostats
Uncover the history of “lighter than air” aircraft and create a mini aerostat to take home.
Thursday April 16 & 23, 2020
Gliders Galore
Discover the science of flight by building and flying straw gliders with our team.
Friday April 17 & 24, 2020
Straw Rockets
Are you a rocket scientist? Test your skills by building and launching straw rockets in our one hundred foot launch zone.

During your visit be sure to visit our Wings 'n Things gift shop! The Museum and the gift shop will remain open until 5:00 p.m.
