Step Back in Time- The Historical Society of Glastonbury

Join us to celebrate the arrival of Spring in colonial Glastonbury!
Visitors can help plant the kitchen garden with vegetables for the family's use, learn about the herb garden which seasoned food and provided valuable medicine for many ailments. The house and barns will be open to demonstrate colonial tools and daily chores, inlcuding making rope. There will be games and activities for children, including games played by the local Native American people who lived alongside the early colonial residents.

Please part at rear of the St. Augustine's Church parking lot on Hopewell Road and then proceed down the path to the Welles-Shipman-Ward property.
Admission fee $5 for those over 10 years old.
