CAMP KALEIDOSCOPE… where the focus is on fun! Located at the Wheeler YMCA, Camp “K” is a week long day camp that offers terrific experiences for children entering grades K-5. Every day is filled with a variety of activities including arts and crafts, field games, rock climbing, nature, archery, swimming and water activities, theme days and character development. We’re looking for 2016 to be the best year of Camp “K” ever… be sure your child is a part of it! Fee: $265 per 1-week session

TEEN CAMP… is an adventure camp specifically for students entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. Teens will take field trips two times per week to places that have been selected based upon the ability to teach the group leadership skills, social and cultural awareness, community service and working together. The other three days will be dedicated to activities on-site related to the theme of that week. Teen Camp Weeks include: Construction Camp, Young Chefs, Advanced Art Camp, Aquatic Adventure Camp, Challenger Camp, Destination FUN, Game Day, Bakery Boss, and Film & Photo Camp Fee: $300 per 1-week session

LEADERS IN TRAINING…Our LIT program is geared for students entering grades 8 & 9. It provides an amazing experience focused on individual development, team building and self-discovery all while having fun at camp. Campers will leave the LIT program more confident of their skills in public speaking, decision-making and problem solving. The LIT program includes group oriented projects, an offsite volunteer project, and planning and delivering a closing camp ceremony for all of camp.

COUNSELORS IN TRAINING… is for students entering 9th or 10th grade. The focus of the Counselors in Training (CIT) program is to teach leadership skills, plan camp activities and train to be future camp counselors. This is a three week program for students who enjoy working with younger children. The first week is the workshop week and during the second half of the program, participants will be placed with counselors of different age groups as an assistant and will be able to use the skills they’ve learned! Fee: $325 per 3-week session

SPECIALTY CAMPS… are one week camps designed for campers who are looking for a variety of activities to incorporate with their traditional day camp experience. These camps are designed for children entering grades 1-5. 2017 Specialty Camps: Builders Club∙ Adventure Scouts ∙ Swim Camp ∙All-Sports ∙ Spy Kids∙ Gymnastics/Cheer/Dance Camp ∙ Jedi∙ Animal Planet ∙ Myth Busters ∙ Girl Power ∙ Music & Theater ∙ Art Extravaganza Fee: $270 per 1-week session

SCAMPER CAMP…for our youngest campers ages 4 & 5. An introductory, 1 week half day program with camp activities that are age appropriate. The schedule will include arts & crafts, stories, songs, nature, swimming and play time. Different themes and fun activities will vary each week. A staff to child ratio of 1:5 ensures close supervision and plenty of attention to make this a fun-filled camp experience!
