Enjoy a sensory-rich ramble within Connecticut’s largest wildlife sanctuary. We’ll take in a spectacular view of Bantam Lake then continue through the red and silver dappled wetlands discovering remnants of the old icehouse.

Butternut Brook trail may reveal the beaver, one of nature’s brilliant engineer’s work. Tune into the inspiration found within the huge as well as tiny trees gracing our path. Breath deep and long absorbing the restoration always to be found in nature. You can be sure you will feel welcomed on this community pilgrimage and inspired to return often in the New Year.
