Imagine what the world would look like if you were the size of an ant. We’ll put in a big effort and learn about scale and proportion as we make a series of tiny wonders and microscopic masterpieces!
FEATURED PROJECTS
Tiny Canvas with Easel
This was one of our most popular Summer Camp projects! Recreate a famous work of art on a tiny canvas to display on a tiny easel for a gigantic effect.
Pocket-Sized Pets
Design your own tiny pet and use an altoid-type tin to create an environment for it to thrive in. We are super excited to see what everyone comes up with.
Shrinky Dinks
This project is incredibly addictive and campers went wild for it. Design your own fabulous shrinky dink artwork. If you aren’t familiar, you’ll create a large drawing on a piece of shrinky dink film, an adult will bake it in an oven or toaster oven for a VERY brief period of time, and then watch as it curls up and shrinks into a tiny trinket that you may use for functional or wearable art!
DRAWING PROJECTS
Bug’s Eye Perspective Drawing
Shrink Ray Drawing
Use your drawing powers to make something that is very big look very small
MATERIALS TO BE PROVIDED BY FAMILY
