This is a course for stargazers and those that like to ponder the mysteries of the universe. Using the planetarium, this program for adults and older teens will present an introduction to planetary, stellar and galactic astronomy as well as introduce a basic understanding of our night sky and the many celestial objects found within. Astronomer and educator Jason T. Archer will be your guide and help you understand the workings of our night sky, the bodies of our solar system, and the properties and make up of stars, galaxies and galactic evolution.

Public Show Ticket Information

The planetarium seats 70.  Tickets are required for our public shows as seating is limited.  We recommend that you purchase your tickets on-line but you can purchase tickets at the door via a credit card.  We are not able to handle cash transactions. Doors open 30 minutes before the show.  Seating is on a first-come basis.  No late arrivals! We cannot admit guests after show has started so please arrive on time.

Our planetariums shows are open to all ages but here are some things to consider.  Weather and time permitting we will include telescope viewing.  Dress appropriately for the weather.  All guests should be comfortable with sitting in the dark for an extended period of time.  We want everyone to have a great time and be inspired by the awesomeness of the universe.
