At Camp KO, we strive each and every day to make your child’s experience meaningful and memorable. We have assembled a highly skilled staff of educators and coaches to lead our campers in a dynamic array of sports, academics, and arts opportunities.

Our focus on health and wellness will ensure that each child has a fun day filled with both physical and mental activity, underscoring the notion that a healthy mind, body, and soul are key components of a happy and healthy life.

Camp KO provides a unique and fun learning environment for a young person with a passion for a specific sport, academic or artistic interest. Our focus is to give kids the tools and the time to develop their skills, make mistakes and recover from them, and feel equipped to manage challenges they will encounter throughout the rest of their lives.

Teachers and coaches will encourage participants to reach beyond their existing abilities, embrace the struggle, and practice deeply and intently. Integrity and sportsmanship will be reinforced and rewarded at every opportunity.

Drawing on the “growth mindset” model defined by Stanford’s Carol Dweck, Ph.D., and the skill development insights from Dan Coyle’s Talent Code, Camp KO will encourage young people to learn more about themselves, gain self-confidence, and recognize that learning is a lifelong journey.

Recognizing that children are currently experiencing more emotional and mental health issues due to the pandemic and the uncertainty in the world, Camp KO will have a licensed clinical therapist on-site throughout the camp season. Our staff also receives yearly training in social-emotional learning (SEL) skill development.
