Give it a Shot Pop-Up Archery! - The Institute for American Indian Studies

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 10/23/2022
For thousands of years, cultures throughout the world, including many Native American communities, used bows and arrows for utilitarian purposes, such as hunting. In modern times, archery is often used for recreational purposes, but it can still be an exciting way to practice patience, dexterity, hand-eye coordination and other useful skills. Anytime between 11:00am and 3:00pm, Join IAIS Educator and USA Archery Certified Instructor Lauren Bennett-Dionne for a quick pop-up archery experience intended for beginners to learn the basics of how to safely and accurately shoot a bow and arrow. Think you can hit a bullseye? Come give it your best shot!!
