Green Valley Homestead Living History Group: Life at Home During the Revolution at Historic Deerfield

The Hall Tavern and its grounds will be busy with reenactors and interpreters portraying members of a civilian group from central Massachusetts during the years of the American Revolution. Come meet the reenactors as they demonstrate and discuss aspects of daily life such as cooking, cloth production (wool and flax), and farming. You can also meet a basket maker, a chandler, and a tinsmith. Learn about colonial arms and their period use, and visit with their farm animals, including a cow, sheep, and chickens.
