Looking At Life Through A Stereo-Microscope

Naturalists and photographers Barbara and Peter Rzasa will lead a program suited for kids ages 8 and up that allow them to discover what items look like when enlarged at the magnification of a stereo-microscope.

Participants will be looking at a variety of specimens through the lens of the microscope discovering the wonder they hold close up.
Participants are welcome to bring their own small objects that they may want to view under the microscope. If the weather is suitable, a short walk outdoors to collect additional specimens will also take place.
Parents are invited and encouraged to attend with their kids to make the viewing a family activity.
