CAMP DESCRIPTION
The Shred Heavy show is a celebration of the influential guitarists who have defined Rock history. These guitar deities commonly go by just one name: Beck, Jimi, Clapton, Page, Orianthi, Santana, Van Halen, Zappa. The guitarists featured in this show help students understand the evolution of Rock and Roll, from the Blues to modern shredding. Students will spend Monday through Friday learning and practicing songs, all culminating in a live performance at the end of the week. Great for students 7-18 years of age who have had some previous instruction.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Camp runs Monday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
Each day will consist of musical exploration, introduction to rock instruments & fun music-based game & activities
On Friday, campers will play the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
