TRADITIONAL CAMP: (AGES 4-16) YMCA Camp Chase is all about discovery and outdoor exploration. Preschool through teens have the opportunity to discover nature, find new talents, try new activities like archery and bouldering, or climb the wall, gain independence and make lasting memories through participating in crafts, swimming lessons, sports, and more. Camp Chase is a unique property allowing campers space to explore 80 acres of lush forest, streams, and use the swimming pool. You can experience our sports courts, basketball, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, wiffleball field, archery, swimming pool, swimming lessons, jumping pillow, climbing wall, team building obstacles, bouldering wall and much more.
FUN IN THE SUN PRESCHOOL CAMP (F.I.T.S) AT FARMINGTON VALLEY YMCA: (AGES 3 &4) Preschool Summer Camp provides full day and half day options to experience traditional camp activities in a safe, age appropriate setting for the youngest campers. Many camp activities and special events are introduced to your child each week. Preschoolers will discover the outdoor activities, swim, sing camp songs, and make special crafts in a caring and nurturing environment. Ages: 3 –9:00am-12:00 pm / Ages 4: –9:00am-4:00pm
RACE4 CHASE: (GRADES 1-7) - OFFERED SESSION 2-7 YMCA Camp Chase offers a Race 4 Chase Triathlon training camp. The camp runs in preparation for the triathlon. The training camp is facilitated by qualified YMCA Health and Wellness staff. At the end of the training these dedicated campers participate in the Race 4 Chase charity triathlon. ARCHERY CAMP: (GRADES 3-8) – OFFERED SESSION 3 Campers will learn and expand upon their knowledge of shooting bow and arrows. Campers will be instructed on proper form, scoring, and repairing broken equipment.
SOCCER CAMP: (GRADES 3-8) - OFFERED SESSION 6 This camp is for players looking for additional training. Groups are split by age and ability to ensure a positive and challenging experience, and to ensure coach-to– player ratio.
FISHING ADVENTURE CAMP: (GRADES 2-8) - OFFERED SESSION 8 Campers will learn the basic techniques of fishing, educated on the fish in local water holes, learn how to repair poles, and safe casting using training poles. Campers will experience traditional camp in the afternoon.
