Toddler Tuesday - Harvest Fun at Connecticut Science Center
On select Tuesdays, the Science Center transforms into a magical playland where little ones ages 6 and under can explore a world of discovery with crowd-controlled spaces, hands-on activities, and special programming designed just for them.

Harvest Fun
Get ready for a whirlwind of giggles and discovery at Harvest Fun on Toddler Tuesday at the Connecticut Science Center! It’s a colorful bash made just for our tiniest adventurers! Little ones will dive into an enchanting escapade, celebrating all the magic of harvest season. Through interactive shenanigans, crafty creations, and playful sensory fun, our pint-sized explorers will uncover the joys of nature, from leaves and pinecones to pumpkins and... wait for it... gourds galore! Oh my, let the fun begin!
- Pumpkin Makey Makey: Get ready to make some pumpkin-powered music! Use our magical Makey Makey to turn pumpkins into instruments and create wickedly fun sounds and beats. It’s like playing in a pumpkin band!
- Will It Roll? Race Time!: Vroom vroom! It’s time for a rolling race! Roll, slide, and zoom down ramps and tabletop treadmills to see which shapes and objects are the fastest. Let’s find out who will be the ultimate racer in this rolling good time!
- Mini Make and Take – Leaf Prints: Nature’s Art: Time to get artsy with nature! Grab a crayon and rub away to make colorful leaf prints that are like little works of art. Watch as the leaves turn into amazing patterns and designs in this leafy masterpiece-making fun!
- Sensory Bin: Fall Treasures: Dive into a fall treasure hunt! Our Sensory Bin is filled with crunchy acorns and bumpy pinecones for little hands to explore. It’s like a mini autumn adventure where toddlers can discover all the wonderful textures and treasures of fall!
- Gift Shop: Snacks and drinks available for purchase.
