Toddler Tuesday - Winter Wonderland at Connecticut Science Center
On select Tuesdays, the Science Center transforms into a magical playland where little ones ages 6 and under can explore a world of discovery with crowd-controlled spaces, hands-on activities, and special programming designed just for them.

Winter Wonderland
Come play in our Winter Wonderland this Toddler Tuesday! Little ones can make sparkly snow prints with paint and glitter, squish fluffy snow made of baking soda and shaving cream, and cozy up for a fun winter story that will warm up their imagination! It’s a day full of snowy sensory fun and frosty magic—come join the adventure!
- Light and Shadow Boxes: Snow Prints: Get ready to create some frosty magic! Little artists will use light and shadows to make wintry masterpieces that sparkle and shine, capturing the whimsy of snowflakes and twinkling lights.
- Mini Make and Take: Snowflake Prints: Tiny hands will get crafty with light-reactive paper to make snowflakes that shimmer! Take home your own sparkly winter scene and show off your frosty creations!
- Keeping Warm: Time for a chilly adventure! Let’s test out all sorts of soft, squishy materials on ice packs to see which one keeps the warmth inside the best. You’ll get to feel all the cozy textures while discovering how to stay toasty in the winter!
- Sensory Bins: It’s a frosty, squishy wonderland! Toddlers will dive into cloud-dough snowmen, play with instant snow, chill with ice cubes, and discover all the soft, squishy textures that make winter feel like magic!
- Gift Shop: Snacks and drinks available for purchase.
