Tours of the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch

Did you know that the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Arch was built to honor the 4000 residents of the city who fought in the Civil War? Take a free tour and learn more about the history of this Civil War monument with the guides, or explore on your own. Tours are flexible and can be 5 to 35 minutes, depending on how much time you have. Just taking a walk in the park and don’t have time for a tour?Just climb the 96 steps to the top of the Arch for a little extra exercise and a great view of the city.
