  • July 8–12: Science on Screen

    Do you like sharing science with others? Do you dream of being the next big YouTube star? Discover how to present science in a professional way for the web or TV. You'll not only perform in your own science video, you'll learn some tricks of the trade to make it look professional. Collaborate with others and begin your dream to create the next imaginative YouTube Science Channel on the net.

  • July 15–19 & July 29–August 2: Robot Restaurant

    Pull up a chair and sit right down at the Robot Restaurant! Build and program resident Connecticut Science Center robots to create an exciting and satisfying restaurant of the future. Preparing the ingredients, greeting the diners, serving the entrees -- robots do it all! What will be your programming recipe that gives your customers an experience they will never forget?

  • July 22–26: Shark Tank

    What makes a million dollar idea? What makes the difference between the iPhone and Cheetos Lip Balm? Come develop one of your great ideas into a working prototype and present it to the Connecticut Science Center Sharks.

  • August 5–9: Creation Nation

    Our Science Center civil engineers will collaborate, design, create, construct, and operate infrastructure projects within our Creation Nation. Use your imagination and the inspiration of real world engineered projects to develop safer roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges, and other infrastructure.

  • August 12–16: The Shape of Speed

    Did you know the fastest land vehicle reached a recorded land speed of 1227.985 km/hr? Humans have always had a need for speed, and no matter the vehicle, speed has a certain shape. Explore how to achieve great speeds with nose cones, fins, spoilers, and curves. Investigate how these shapes function in harmony to make the most advanced vehicles humans have ever built. Your task is to push the limits on land, under the sea, and in the air to create the fastest Connecticut Science Center vehicle!
