Under the ‘Wolf ‘Moon Family Night Hike at Roaring Brook Nature Center!

Bundle up and join us for a guided evening hike under the full moon. This month’s moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full Wolf Moon In Native American and early Colonial times, the Full Moon for January was called the Full Wolf Moon. It appeared when wolves howled in hunger outside the villages. We won’t hear any wolves but we may hear owls and other creatures of the night.

This is also the first of three supermoons for 2019. The Moon will be at its closest approach to the Earth and may look slightly larger and brighter than usual.
Dress for the weather and bring a flashlight.
