The Wood’s 10th Annual Gingerbread House Festival: “A Picture Perfect Holiday”

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 01/03/2021
We are excited to announce that The Friends of Wood Memorial Library & Museum’s Annual Gingerbread House Festival will be coming back for its 10th Year! The Wood is committed to keeping this “can’t miss” community event available to the public during the festive holiday season and have partnered up with The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk to be able to provide a safe environment for patrons to enjoy the Gingerbread House display. Celebrate “A Picture Perfect Holiday” this year as gingerbread houses create colorful holiday window displays all throughout The Promenade Shops Evergreen Walk providing a safe and enjoyable event for the whole family. The windows displays at Evergreen Walk will provide the perfect venue for showcasing the sugary artistic creations among sparkling lights and colorful décor that patrons can enjoy while practicing social distancing and safe covid-19 precautions.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email so we can update it immediately.

Want to join in the fun and enter your own gingerbread creation in the show? We welcome all skill levels and there is no entry fee.  More information on how to submit your entries will be available soon.

Want to be a part of the festival but not create a house?  We are looking for volunteers to help set up and decorate windows.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
