Join us this summer for a week full of exploration, wildlife, and fun! Zoo Patrol at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo encourages kids ages 7-10 and 11-13 to explore a different area of the zoo and have a custom guided experience. They'll explore how the animals are cared for through presentations and projects on enrichment, training, diet, and habitat care, and more!

The Institute for American Indian Studies is planning for summer camp in 2024. Join experienced educators and camp staff on a journey through one, or several, themes related to our museum’s mission. Each week, while hiking in the woods, playing games, doing crafts, and making friends, campers will work together to complete a group project. By doing so, campers will not only learn valuable life skills, but will also have a positive impact on future visitors, students, and campers.

Kids spend their days on the farm immersing themselves in the energy of farm life, learning horsemanship, participating in farm chores, getting creative with arts and crafts, playing exciting games, learning basics of horseback riding, pony rides, and exploring nature on hikes around the beautiful property.Our small groups ensure individual attention, while the abundance of fresh air provides a great escape from technology. Families, youth, and friends are invited to join us, in groups of 1-4 participants, for an INDOOR or OUTDOOR rock climbing experience with a guide to facilitate access. Reservations can be made for a single or multi-day experience. When the multi-day option is selected, you may choose consecutive or scattered dates on which to climb. We have created a highly flexible, but simple, scheduling system to help conform to your busy schedule.
