This is a 4-week hybrid program with an online interactive and at-home “Nutty” Experience! Explore 4 different weeks with 4 different themes!

Art doesn’t just have to hang on the wall! Students will get to create pieces of art that they will be able to wear and show off to all of their family and friends wherever they go. Join this interactive online program from the comfort of your own home on your laptop, desktop, or cell phone. A wi-fi connection is required, and a link to the online classroom will be sent to you 1-2 days before the class starts. Color is one of the seven basic building blocks of art along with Line, Form, Shape, Value, Space, and Texture. During Creating in Color, students will learn color theory, evaluate the use of color in fine art, and create their own unique and colorful works of art through a variety of techniques and media like collage, drawing, painting, and printmaking!

Summer Studio Bytes presents daily visual art activities for all age groups on a fun weekly theme, with group video chats and individual instruction included. Recharge your summer with a daily dose of creative adventure!

If your Spidey senses are telling you to join this class, they are right! Mr. Jacob will lead you through the creation of some fun Spider-Man themed crafts, music, and even some Spider-Man inspired performing! This class is open to all ages and abilities. Mr. Jacob will host more superhero themed classes on Mondays at 10:00 am for Session Two and Three.

An introduction to Musical Learning Milestones through interactive songs with fun movement and stories. Each class has a carefully curated playlist to keep little ones engaged, moving & involved through song and activity. 2 paper plates, 2 tapping sticks, a stuffed animal and whatever other musical toys your kiddo enjoys will help their involvement in this high energy, adorable class. This class will last through Session One – Three.

A fun engaging Intro into rhythm and song through singing, dancing and jamming. Each class has a carefully curated playlist to keep little ones engaged, moving & involved through song and activity. From dance parties, to sing along to learning musical terms, notes & composers your young one will be sure to leave the class with a smile and a little musical knowledge. This class will last through Session One – Three.

Join Mr. Jacob where together we will discover the wonders of wizards and create a character while you act out scenes from Harry Potter in this beginner level acting scene study class. This class is open to all ages and abilities and will culminate in a final informal performance. This class is open to all ages and abilities with a serious interest in acting. Mr. Jacob will host more acting classes on Tuesdays at 2:00 pm for Session Two and Three.

There is so much in our world to be inspired by, sometimes we just need to pick up a pen and write how we think down on paper. Join Ms. Bryn for her popular Creative Writing and Composition class, Thursdays at 2pm where there are never any rules. Just pure imagination running wild. Poetry, short stories and songs, oh my! Ms. Bryn will host more writing themed classes on Thursdays at 2:00 pm for Session Two and Three.

Do you love the musical Hamilton? Has it sparked an interest in American history and music? Join Ms. Hila and learn more about the Hamilton era of music, its instruments, the history and the influences that inspired Lin Manuel Miranda launch a cultural revolution in musical theatre hundreds of years later. Ms. Hila will host more Hamilton-themed classes on Mondays at 4:00 pm for Session Two and Three.

Wondering how to make your song unique and more “you”? Thinking, what do I need to bring my singing to the next level? Look no further, come join Ms. Bryn, Thursdays at 4pm and discover fun ways to reach your goals as a singer. The best way to learn is in our open, fun-loving environment that we create, where everyone gets to support each other as young performers! This class is back by popular demand and a loyal following, don’t miss your chance to be a part of this collaborative class!

In this class, we will sing along to some of our favorite boy bands! Not to mention that we’ll all spill the tea on who are our favorite members! We’ve got everything from the classic boy bands like the Beatles and Rolling Stones, to the legendary 90’s boy bands like *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys, to the boy bands of today like BTS and One Direction! Don’t know of any boy bands? You can still come and join as we will also be having freeze dance parties and loads of more fun!

Looking to spice up your summer? Look no further! Join Mr. Jacob for Quarantine Cooking, a safe, easy, non-bake class for students ages 8+. Together we will create yummy treats and summer snacks that will make your whole family sing! All recipes will be sent out in advance and students will receive very specific instructions along the way to ensure a safe and delicious experience for all. The quarantine cooking class will continue in Session Two and Three with different themed for each session.

If you’re looking to refresh your repertoire, come join us and sing some of the best Indie and Alternative Pop/Rock songs. No music experience necessary. With a new playlist each week, we’ll have a blast learning music from independent bands. Ms. Hila will host this class for Session Two and Three.

“Learn to Play the Blues” Course, is open to all guitar and piano students who want to learn to play blues chord progressions and to use these to improvise in many keys. Background and history of blues music and its relationship to other popular music will also be discussed. This course will meet on five consecutive Fridays, from 2:00 – 3:30pm, starting on July 31 and ending on August 28.

We will cover foundational techniques of observational drawing using line, tone, value, and texture. Students will learn to draw convincing three dimensional forms from life in a series of increasingly complicated compositions.

Commonpoint Queens is excited to offer a free virtual College Prep Boot Camp! This will be an intensive two-week program that will explore key topics in the college application process. The bootcamp will run in three sessions from July 20-31, August 3-August 14, and August 17-28. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.

As a response to the lock downs caused by COVID-19, we invested in the personnel and equipment to provide high quality, engaging LIVE Virtual camps throughout the summer and fall. The most popular camps running are robotics, video game design, coding, LEGO Engineering, Anime and Cartoon Drawing ans Animation. We also offer LIVE Virtual musical instrument camps and classes.

Creatively WILD’s super engaging Summer Art Camp is different every day! Each online camp includes an Art Project based on a famous artist, sign up for Morning & Afternoon and complete two projects! Our in-studio Summer Camps are the highlight of our year here at Freehand. Great Big Theatre Company's innovative Online Summer Drama Camps offer a variety of fun, engaging and interactive activities for youth ages 6-14 years. GBTC brings its many years of experience with drama for kids to the development of this virtual program in the Zoom environment.

Camp Image Quilt is a virtual day camp that runs Monday through Friday. Our day camp includes daily activities in dance, photography, and wilderness discovery. This year, the SPCA Serving Erie County is bringing our summer camp to you – virtually! We are offering a virtual shelter classroom experience with live lessons and activities and cool, take-home activity backpacks! Learn about solar, wind and hydro power and the role machines play in storing and measuring it. Practice using tools like levers, cams, gears and pulleys to build multiple models. Use your model to simulate real-life machines such as sweeping machines, windmills, and power cars to aid in your exploration.

In the style of Mega Man, Rayman and Castlevania, here's your chance to design your own classic side-scroller adventure. You have complete control over the design of this video game and will create your own characters and environments. Design objects that you can pick up to help your avatar and design obstacles to increase the difficulty of the game.
