Campers will learn how to survive in the woods by making fire from sticks, among other tasks.

This is an advanced course that teaches wilderness survival skills through hands on projects and challenges that put student’s skills to the test.  Skills taught may include: making fire from sticks, projects like pottery, basket making, stone tool construction,making bark and wooden bowls, arrow crafting, making advanced shelters, gathering wild plants, and even going on a bullfrog hunt (participation optional).

Campers are 10-14 years of age.  There will be an overnight stay on Thursday night.
