All For Girls Summer Academy - The Ethel Walker School - Simsbury, CT

Providing a summer of academic discovery, The Ethel Walker School’s All For Girls Summer Academy is where curiosity meets exploration and fun! Our in-person program for grades 5-8 is an immersive learning experience on our picturesque campus in Simsbury, CT while grades 9 and 10 collaborate in cutting-edge online spaces. All courses have been designed by Walker’s renowned faculty who turn every lesson into an adventure and every student into a fearless innovators. Students can choose from one-week courses that focus on roller coaster engineering, female entrepreneurship, writing and theater, and more. These topics, designed and taught by Walker's faculty, spark curiosity and encourage critical thinking.

Online Program

Our online program for girls entering grades 9 and 10 creates a setting for in-depth discussion about topics of interest to high school students locally, nationally, and internationally.  Courses meet Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m until 11:30 a.m. on Zoom.

In-Person Program

Open to girls entering grades 5-8, our in-person program provides comprehensive study of a number of subjects, combining hands-on activities with group discussions. Students have the option to choose one of two academic courses in the morning, participate in a leadership lunch each day, and learn one of three new skills in the afternoon: ceramics, coding, or squash and tennis.

Daily drop-off at The Ethel Walker School’s Simsbury campus is between 8:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. with pickup at 4:00 p.m. Lunch and snacks are provided.
