Get your hands dirty, step back in time, and experience life on the farm! Young Explorer’s ages 8-12, will spend 3 days at the Noah Webster House in West Hartford and two day’s at Auerfarm in Bloomfield for a week long experience in colonial life, agriculture, and the natural environment. Activities include crafts, cooking lunch over an open hearth, planting seeds, and picking and eating fruits and vegetables. Top off the week with a hay ride with views of Heublein Tower, and a family picnic. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday sessions will be held at the Noah Webster House, 227 South Main Street, West Hartford. Wednesday and Friday sessions will be held at Auerfarm, 158 Auer Farm Road, Bloomfield
