Registration is now open for the 33rd annual Children’s Circus of Middletown! Oddfellows Playhouse and the Middletown Office of the Arts are collaborating on another summer of fun, safe, in-person programming for kids.
This year's Children’s Circus of Middletown will run July 6 - August 6 at two locations in Middletown -- Macdonough School and Bielefield School. This unique and award-winning program runs Monday through Friday, 9 am to 3 pm, and is open to ages 5 - 15.
Due to COVID protocols, space is limited and enrollment will be capped at 60 students per site. Timely registration is encouraged.
The Children’s Circus of Middletown provides kids the opportunity to learn juggling, acrobatics, stilting, dance, music, unicycling, painting, puppetry, acting, clowning and more in an inclusive, non-competitive environment. Most programming will be held outdoors, and free lunch is available for all students. Bussing is provided within Middletown.
The Children’s Circus of Middletown is part of the City of Middletown’s Kids Arts program, offering affordable arts experiences and training to all Middletown youngsters. The program is also offered to out-of-town young people on a space available basis. Tuition for the 5 week program is $600 for out-of-towners, $300 for Middletown Residents. Tuition discounts and waivers are available to Middletown families who require assistance, as well as those with more than one child enrolled in the program

The Children’s Circus of Middletown is part of the City of Middletown’s Kids Arts program, supported by the City of Middletown Arts and Culture Office and the Middlesex United Way. The program is coordinated, designed and presented by Oddfellows Playhouse Youth Theater.
