A Civil War Experience

Join the Litchfield Historical Society for a week-long program on the Civil War as experienced by Litchfield County residents. The program will run from Monday, July 13-Friday, July 17. For ages 9+, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Join the Litchfield Historical Society for a week-long program on the Civil War as experienced by Litchfield County residents. Students will assume the identities of soldiers who fought with the 2nd Connecticut Heavy Artillery and learn about a soldier’s life during wartime, playing games and making crafts along the way. The program will run from Monday, July 13-Friday, July 17. For ages 9+, from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. $65 for members for the full week and $90 for non-members for the whole week.
