Color, Light, and Shadow at Niantic Children's Museum
*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 10/08/2025
We are starting extra programs at the museum to supplement home learning for students! Our current programs will be geared towards ages 5-8, but are open to all elementary-age students and will have a general theme. No matter what the theme is, we will be incorporating math, reading, and writing into each lesson to help students with practice. Each homeschool session can be attended regardless of whether your student has attended other programs at the museum
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
This session is for our kids who love to play with color! We will use different artists to introduce new concepts as students practice their skills and record in their enrichment journal. They will also learn how to play with light and shadow to create art. There will be a snack break and bathroom break in the middle of the session so please have your student bring a snack.
For questions, contact the education coordinator Molly Traugott at education@niantickids.org.
