Imagine Nation invites you to Meet the Chefs at CT Open House Day on Saturday, June 9th from 10:00am-3:00pm. At 10:00am, join us for the official ribbon cutting of The Charlie Cart, Imagine Nation’s new mobile teaching kitchen!

Imagine Nation invites you to Meet the Chefs at CT Open House Day on Saturday, June 9th from 10:00am-3:00pm. CT Open House Day at Imagine Nation is FREE for the first 100 visitors, thanks to generous sponsorship from the City of Bristol. At 10:00am, join us for the official ribbon cutting of The Charlie Cart, Imagine Nation’s new mobile teaching kitchen, sponsored by the Barnes Foundation.
Experience cooking demonstrations with Guest Chefs including: Pastry Chef Kate Mancini at 10:30am, Executive Chef David Gilmore of Chango Rosa Tacos in Hartford at 11:30am, Resident Chef Trace Alford of Sur la Table Canton at 12:30pm, Chef Ben Hopkins of Marilyn’s Pub in Bristol at 1:30pm, and Chef Lanita Thomas of Jake’s Wayback Bristol at 2:15pm.
What else is cooking? Check out the Art Studio to create a still life drawing of flowers and fruit using oil pastels, visit the Mud Pie Bakery in our Outdoor Learning Park, stop by the Recipe Station for some great new ideas, and don’t miss our Studio Workshops: 11am Butter Making Workshop with Chef Alie and 1pm Where Food Comes From with Jenn.
