Earth Day Beach and Park Cleanup at Meigs Point Nature Center at Hammonasset Beach State Park
All volunteers are welcome! Come as an individual or with your family. Also, a great club or group activity – school clubs, scout troops, community groups, business volunteer groups, etc. Keeping the beach clean and free of debris not only improves the appearance for everyone’s enjoyment but is vitally important for the health of birds and aquatic animals. All cleanup supplies will be provided. We will have individually wrapped snacks. Volunteers should bring their own beverages.
