Exploring Matter at Niantic Children's Museum

We are starting extra programs at the museum to supplement home learning for students! Our current programs will be geared towards ages 5-8, but are open to all elementary-age students and will have a general theme. No matter what the theme is, we will be incorporating math, reading, and writing into each lesson to help students with practice. Each homeschool session can be attended regardless of whether your student has attended other programs at the museum.

For all our budding scientists, this is the session for them! Students will be exploring solids, liquids and gases, making observations and experimenting! There will be slime, there will be bubbles, and there will be fun. Your students will have plenty to write about in their science journals as they measure and test. There will be a snack break and bathroom break in the middle of the session so please have your student bring a snack.

- Thursdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 9 from 1-3pm
- Friday, Sept. 12-Oct. 10 from 9:30-11:30am
- For 5-8 year olds who are ready to attend alone
- $110 member, $170 nonmember, includes Museum admission
- Limited space available. Pre-registration required.
Please note: You must have an active Museum membership when booking. Only children included in your membership can be registered at member price.
