Monday, February 19, a.m.-12 p.m. President’s Day
Celebrate President’s Day while creating a presidential craft and baking a favorite Presidential treat. Did you know Snickerdoodles was President
Cleveland’s favorite cookie?
Monday, February 19, 1-4 p.m. Dog or cat Snuffle Mat
Do you love to play games with your dog or cat? A homemade snuffle mat allows your pet to sniff and search for hidden treats. Made out of a plastic
mat and fleece.
Tuesday, February 20, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Hearth Cooking
A child’s favorite. Young cooks will use colonial period recipes such as chowder and apple charlotte and cook over an open hearth the old-fashioned way! (space fills up quickly)
Tuesday, February 20, 1-4 p.m. Basket Weaving
Basket weaving is an ancient craft that uses naturally grown materials and a few very simple tools. Basket weaving is a great hobby and makes a great
gift.
The program fee is $25 per child, per workshop ($20 for museum members). Please pack your child a snack and bring a bagged lunch when registering kids for both sessions! Pre-registration is required at (860) 521-5362 x 14 or education@noahwebsterhouse.org
Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds (minus a 10% processing fee) will be honored up to one (1) week
before the start of the workshops. Full refunds will be given if the session is cancelled
due to under enrollment.
