Family Drawing Workshop

Join us at the Fairfield Museum on 4/2 from 10am to 1pm for our family drawing workshop. $8 per adult, $5 per child, includes museum admission.
Registration recommended. This workshop is best for families with kids ages 4 and up.

On Saturday 4/2 from 10am - 1pm, join the Fairfield Museum for a fun filled morning of drawing! Children and adults will have the opportunity to learn observational drawing skills. We will look closely at the prints of exhibiting artists Clare Leighton and Thomas Nason, learning how they include details in their renderings of New England scenes. Then we will examine the architecture of the Museum and nearby Sun Tavern, Victorian Barn and Cottage. Following this, we will practice specific drawing techniques that you can apply to your own work.
