GSOFCT Camp Katoya

In a rustic, wooded setting, Camp Katoya provides an ideal opportunity for girls to discover their individuality and creativity with their closest friends. Activities range from camp staples like arts-and-crafts and swimming to special focuses like environmental education and weekly cookouts. Wednesday "Dabble Days" allow girls to choose their own activities, and each week will feature a different theme.

Week 1 (6/24-6/28)
Holidaze: Celebrate a different holiday every day of the week: Valentine's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's Eve.

Week 2 (7/1-7/5)
May the Fourth Be With You: Have fun exploring the night sky, space, and aliens.

Week 3 (7/8-7/12)
Yes, You Can!!: Build your confidence and test out new skills.

Week 4 (7/15-7/19)
Let's Have a Cookout: Make some tasty treats in the outdoors while learning basic cooking technique.

Week 5 (7/22-7/26)
Relax at the Spa: Spend the week learning and practicing natural ways to relieve stress and keep healthy.

Week 6 (7/29-8/2)
Back to Basics: Exercise basic camping skills: fire-building, knot-tying, orienteering, and shelter-constructing.

Week 7 (8/5-8/9)
Outdoor Naturalist: Explore the natural world of bugs, flowers, or trees.
