Teen Improv Intensive: ages 14-17 | Radical collaboration. Spontaneous craft. Total ensemble.
July 27-30 | 10am–3pm Daily
For high schoolers ready to sharpen their comedic craft, this intensive explores the intersection of theatrical bravery and bold, collaborative storytelling.
No experience? No problem. We provide the tools and the structure to help everyone find their voice and build a fantastic show from scratch.
Students will sharpen their narrative intuition, learning how to create stories with intention, connect with the ensemble, and take collective leadership of the stage. It is a week of extreme creativity and discovering how to build a full world from a single suggestion.
The Showcase: Thursday at 2:00 PM. The week culminates in a Narrative Montage: A feature-length showcase where the student ensemble’s creativity is the driving force behind the entire production.
Location: Kismet Improv at Hope Artiste Village, Pawtucket.
Inclusion & Safety: We are committed to a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment. At Kismet, we believe every voice belongs on our stage and is vital to the stories we tell.
What to Wear: Please wear comfortable clothes and sneakers that allow for full movement on stage (no flip-flops, please!).
Food & Safety: Kismet is a Nut-Aware space. Please pack a nut-free lunch and water bottle for your student. To keep the ensemble safe, we maintain a strict "no-sharing" food policy.
No Experience Necessary: Whether they are theater veterans or stepping onto a stage for the first time, we meet every student where they are with the tools to jumpstart their creative brain.
