The Dalcroze Rhythmic- Solfege sequence provides all of the necessary building blocks to achieve success with any instrument. Rhythmic Solfege builds on the principles of learning music through movement with the addition of focused musical study on keyboard percussion; the end goal of the sequence is comprehensive musicianship! This is a process-oriented program using the Dalcrozian tenants of joy, discovery and experiential education as its foundation, and delving into musical subjects and literature. With the same principles and foundation as Dalcroze Eurhythmics, Rhythmic Solfege is designed to increase coordination, spatial awareness, flexibility, focus, emotional knowledge, and vocal precision. Our fall semester start 9/17 and is entirely online.
