CAMP DESCRIPTION
Ear training, song structure, rhythm patterns and group playing are all part of this week-long introduction to music. In this camp, students will learn about all the different rock instruments and begin their introduction to music theory and music appreciation. This summer camp is designed for 5 – 7-year-old students who have little to no experience with music. This three-day camp runs Wednesday through Friday with a performance at the end of the last day.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Camp runs Wednesday - Friday, 9am - 3pm each day
Each day will consist of musical exploration, introduction to rock instruments & fun music-based game & activities
On Friday, campers will play the songs they’ve been working on throughout the week!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Students can expect an exciting and educational week of learning music taught by our talented camp instructors. Each day, students are asked to bring a snack, water bottle and hearing protection.
