Second Saturdays for Families: Woman's History Month

Celebrate Women’s History Month by getting to know collection works by women artists on a docent-guided tour. Take a moment to view our Spotlight exhibition featuring Dusti Bongé, to learn more about Mississippi’s first modernist painter. Then join artist and educator Julie Bergeron for a mixed-media workshop inspired by artist and teacher Alma Thomas (1891–1978). Listen to storyteller Tammy Denease as she reveals the lives of significant yet “hidden” women in history.
