"Speak in a Week" Language Camps

▬▬▬▬▬▬ Course Description ▬▬▬▬▬▬
This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamental concepts of a new language. Students will learn and practice essential information and concepts, such as greetings, simple conversation, numbers, colors, shapes, counting, the alphabet and unlimited vocabulary. The course is taught mostly in the target language.

▬▬▬▬▬▬ Instructor Practices ▬▬▬▬▬▬
The instructor will use slides to ensure that students can see the information clearly. In addition, the instructor will employ various teaching techniques such as hand gestures, facial expressions, voice intonation, and body movements to engage and help students understand what is being taught. Chanting, rhyming, singing, and call-and-response will also be used to enhance the learning experience. Students will interact with the instructor and their classmates throughout the lesson to reinforce their learning.

This class does not require any prior experience or knowledge so all learners are welcome to join.
This course provides an excellent opportunity for learners to get introduced to and become familiar with the fundamental concepts of a new language. The course is designed to accommodate non-native speakers of various languages, and the instructor will use various teaching techniques to engage and help students understand and enjoy what is being taught. Students will interact with the instructor and their classmates throughout the course to reinforce their learning.

This is an immersion class, which means lessons will be taught primarily in the target language of choice.
