Stage for Change

Friendship Circle presents Stage For Change, a thought provoking theater experience cultivating understanding of disability inclusion. Children ages 6-11 are invited to join the award winning NYC Kids Project, an interactive educational theater program advocating awareness, acceptance, and respect for people of ALL abilities. Life-sized puppets share stories that encourage children to examine attitudes surrounding disabilities while fostering empathy. Children are invited to engage in exciting hands-on activity stations that support Jewish inclusive values and mindsets.
The February 26th Stage for Change event will honor Jewish Disability Awareness Acceptance Month (JDAIM), a unified effort among Jewish organizations worldwide to raise awareness and foster inclusion of people with disabilities and those who love them.
