2022 Concert Schedule:

June 23: The Doug Maher Quartet
sponsored by the First Town Downtown Board of Directors

June 30: BUS13
sponsored by Windsor Independent Living Association (WILA)

BUS13 is well known for their heartland-rock and alternative-country style. Singer/songwriter Todd Daniels found his musical inspiration from Jeff Tweedy & WILCO, Ryan Adams and Whiskeytown, Tom Petty, John Prine, and Neil Young. The band has thrived on their original indie roots and has released three studio albums including, “Reflector”, “Band Radio”, and “Underground Parties and Other Fabulous Shoes”. “Daniels is an engaging front man. You can’t help being drawn in by the sentiments.” ~ Thomas Pizzola Hartford Advocate. BUS13 first garnered national notoriety on SiriusXM radio for their first album “Reflector” with the song “My Green Bike”, a feel-great tune about Daniels’ childhood modified chopper bicycle. The song famously begins with Daniels singing “I’m feeling great today” and the listener is taken along for the uplifting ride. SiriusXM DJ, Billy Zero of the RADAR REPORT, touted BUS13 as one of the “Most Notable Unsigned Artists in the US”. Expect an engaging show and a lot of good Americana fun.

July 7: Farmington Valley Big Band
sponsored by Carmon Funeral Homes

The Farmington Valley Band performs a wide variety of challenging and outstanding concert music, favorites and marches. Although the marching tunes of K.L. King, Sousa, R.B. Hall and old time American band leaders abound, you are also likely to hear a few jazz compositions in the "Big Band" tradition of the Dorseys or Woody Herman.

August 11:
Steven Lipman Band

sponsored by Frank and Taryn Carmon
Steve’s dream of becoming a vocalist began at a very young age as he was sifting through his mother’s 78 RPM records. She had quite a varied collection of talented vocalists, but it was soon clear that Steve’s favorite was Frank Sinatra. To Steve, Sinatra was the ultimate storyteller. He communicated the essence of life to each individual listener like no singer had done before. Today, Steve retells the stories that Sinatra explored, conjuring the essence of the great master of the Songbook without impersonation. The arrangements and performances are creatively transformed, leaving no question in the audience’s mind as to who is on stage touching each of them with these unforgettable stories.

August 18: Personal Touch
sponsored by Sharon Dillon of Berkshire Hathaway & Donald Trinks of Bart’s Drive In Restaurant
