June 24-28 - Backyard Explorers: Delve into the wonders of nature during our Backyard Explorers week! This fun and educational program offers kids the chance to take a closer look at bugs, plants, and the flora and fauna that can be found in our very own backyards. With a mix of educational activities and fun backyard games, kids will have a blast while learning about the natural world around them.
July 1-3 - Farm to Table Part I: What do plants need to grow? What does "farm to table" mean? How do we read seed packets? These are just some of the questions we'll explore in this hands-on week of gardening. This is the first of a two-part series of camps. Farm to Table: Part 2 will be during the week of August 14 where we will harvest, sample and celebrate a job well done! (Part 1 is not a pre-requisite for Part 2. Feel free to attend either or both!)
July 8-12 - STEAM Week: Fuel your child's creativity with our STEAM Week at the farm! From science and technology to engineering, art, and math, our week-long program is designed to engage and inspire young minds. With a mix of hands-on projects, games and activities, your child will have the opportunity to explore, problem solve, and have fun in a supportive and engaging environment.
July 15-19 - Around the World Week: Campers will embark on a journey of adventure and learning during our "Around the World Week." Get ready to jet set around the globe and explore how people in different countries farm, eat and enjoy daily life. Through games, snacks, music and play, campers will learn about a typical day in the lives of kids across the globe.
August 5-9 - Nature Craft Club: Join us for Nature Craft Club week at the farm and let the creativity flow! This week our campers will incorporate nature into art, using natural materials alongside traditional media. We will explore the beauty of nature as it engages our imagination and inspires our creations.
August 12-16 - Chicken Week: This week we're learning all about chickens! We've got lots of fun chicken-themed games and activities to honor our fine feathered friends, including chicken-themed arts & crafts, meet and greet with the chickens, daily egg collecting from the farm's coop, and a chicken feed scavenger hunt. You'll want to fly the coop and head over to the farm for this egg-citing week!
August 19-23 - Farm to Table Part II: What does "in season" mean? Can we grow a garden in the fall? How can we use the foods we grow? These are just some of the questions we'll explore in this hands-on week of gardening. Activities will include harvesting from the learning garden, summer produce taste tests, planting your own fall vegetable to take home, and a special Farm Store activity. (Part 1 is not a pre-requisite for Part 2. Feel free to attend either or both!)
