Teen & Tween Cake Decorating Camp
August 17th-20th 10:00am-1:30 pm
Ages 10+ (Teens welcome!)
(Taking place in The Fiber Studio)
Calling all creative bakers! Join us for a unique Cake Decorating Camp where tweens and teens will learn the artistry behind beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes.
Participants will explore professional techniques including:
• Piping with decorating bags and tips
• Working with fondant molds
• Decorative textures and finishes
• Creative design tips and tricks used by real bakers
This camp is perfect for tweens and teens who want to elevate their decorating skills while having fun in a creative environment.
Students will practice on a combination of real cupcakes (provided for decorating) as well as artificial decorating surfaces that allow them to experiment and refine their techniques. Each participant will also have the opportunity to design their own decorative concept and bring it to life.
Instructor:
Amy, owner of Amy Cakes Cottage Bakery, will be leading the camp. Amy has a background in education and brings both professional baking experience and a love of teaching, making her a wonderful addition to our summer camp lineup.
Students should pack a lunch and beverage!
