You'll explore and discover all sorts of animals - insects, salamanders, worms, even water bears! We will go on outdoor adventures, make fun buggy crafts, and use microscopes to learn about how these creatures look, move, and behave.
- Magic & Science (K-3)
Great magic tricks and great science can amaze you! Learn the science behind some cool tricks, do some science that looks magical, and work with illusions, gimmicks and math that will puzzle and fool you and your friends!
- Survive the Storm (4-8)
Have you ever wondered what you would do if natural disaster stuck? Learn how to live through the fury of planet Earth by using basic, household supplies. You will learn how to survive floods, fires, earthquakes and much more.
- Astronomy: What's Up There? (4-8)
Have you ever looked up into a beautifully dark, night sky, and wondered what's out there? Do you see something that you might not recognize? Well, join us, as we look to the April skies to find out what's out there! We'll look at the Sun safely, and be able to see the Moon during the day! We'll explore the science of nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies. Each student in this class will receive a Galileoscope, that we will build together, to explore the night sky the way that Galileo and Kepler saw it, 400 years ago!
